The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The large garden is a real bonus, especially with the fantastic play area for children, which kept the kids happily entertained while we relaxed. We all had a great time and enjoyed the food so much. "The team at the Roebuck were all very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We arrived early to get to a festival early, this meant we did not have time to check in. But we got messages from Becky and Lucien about the room readiness and the key location as we were arriving back late. It is a lovely Country Inn which has only been under new management for 5 months soon to accommodate a farm shop too to provide local community and feed dining guests. Everyone in the bar including the locals were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Big garden and outside seating, somewhere I will definitely consider when returning to this part of Sussex. Amazing breakfast too which was not advertised but very much welcomed. Compliments to the chef, probably one of the best I've had. Myself and my son thoroughly enjoyed the room and the festival!"
